Dean of Student Affairs
Dr. Lou Ann Gilchrist
Lou Ann Gilchrist attended Idaho State University where she
received her Doctor of Education degree in Counselor Education. She
did her undergraduate work in psychology and child development. She
has worked at Truman State University for over twenty years. She
served as a faculty member and Director of University Counseling
Services prior to becoming the Dean of Student Affairs.
Assistant
Dean of Student Affairs Citizenship and Community Standards Beth Kral
Beth Kral graduated Summa Cum Laude from
Missouri Western State University with a B.A. in English, emphasis
in Journalism. She then went to Arizona State University where
she acquired a M.A. Ed. in Higher and Postsecondary Education.
Beth began at Truman in fall 2007, and was the Director of Greek
Life, Conferences and Special Events and has been the Assistant Dean
of Student Affairs since July of 2010.
Assistant Dean of Student Affairs
Leadership Development and Student Activities Dr. David Lusk
David Lusk received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the
University of Kansas. He earned his B.A. in Psychology and History
from Bethel College in Newton, Kansas. Dave is in his eighth year at
Truman. He worked previously as a counselor at the University
Counseling Services at Truman State University.
Secretary
to the Dean Brandi Wriedt
Brandi
Wriedt graduated from the University of Missouri with a B.S. in
Hotel and Restaurant Management and also a minor in Business. She
earned an MBA from the University of Phoenix in May 2010. Brandi has
been the Secretary of Student Affairs since January of 2008, and has
coached the Showgirls and Cheerleaders since July of 2008.
