The Public Relations office (785-4016) can post your event or announcement on TruView if you are representing a chartered student organization and you have your adviser's approval. The approval form is posted at: http://its.truman.edu/documentation/pipelineannounce.pdf.

Truman Today
To submit information for the Truman Today, please e-mail ksvoboda@truman.edu or complete a Truman Today form in the Public Relations office, McClain Hall 101, by the Wednesday before the Monday ONLINE publication date. Submissions are subject to editing for clarity, style and space.
 

Cable Channel 36
The Public Relations office can post your campus announcement on the University’s cable channel 36. Call 785-4016 for more information.

Other Media
There are a variety of media offices that will disseminate information. These offices include the following:
The Index is the Truman State University student newspaper. To post an ad in the paper, please call 785-4319 or email index@truman.edu. Rates for advertising vary depending on size of advertisement.
KTRM is the student radio station. All public service announcements are welcome at 88.7, The Edge. When writing an announcement to be read over the air, please include the following information:

1) Name of organization
2) Date and time of the event
3) Location
4) Contact person and phone number to call for more information

Please submit your announcement at least one week prior to the start of the event. Announcements can be submitted in person at the studio in the lower level of the SUB. The announcement should take no longer than 30 seconds to read. For more information call 785-4506.

True News is the campus student television station. This station provides news coverage for the campus, broadcasting on channels 36, 77, and community cable. Truman TV is located in the Media Center on the lower level of the Student Union. Call 785-7296 to inquire about advertising.
